Hi Guys..

My spouse got  a work permit to work at canada ,and for me I am getting my dependent visa processed. Will I be eligible to work at canada?

It depends on the NOC level of her employment.  For you to get an open spousal work permit, it has to be in NOC A, B or O.

what kind of visa did you applied for? if it is Spousal application, once approved you will have a PR Visa. then there is no restrictions and you may work but if you are a dependent of NOC level of her employment, for you to get an open spousal work permit, it has to be in NOC A, B or O.

My work permit is an open spousal work permit.  I have availed leave from my employer now, so is it legaly possible for me to work on  fully time employment /short term contract jobs in canada ?

Yes, if you have an open work permit you can work in Canada.
