Can a candadian resident apply for US visa in Canada

Hi everyone

I am from Syria. I need a visa to enter the US.
If I became a Canadaian PR, can I go to the American Embassy in Canada or I have to go to the American Embassy in Syria?
Does it make a difference for  different types of visas (studend visitor ...)

Any Candian PR need visa to enter  US....u can apply your visa in US embassy canada.....ofcuorse if you want go for study in US then you have to apply for student visa or if u want to travel. then you should apply tourist visa or visitor.
