HI All,

I am planning to put my application by 1st or 2nd week of october 2010. Awaiting for few letters from my previous employers, though they are non-NOC jobs, i want to put the experience letters with my applications.

I need your help in this matter.
My spouse's passport is not yet ready. I had applied under Tatkal scheme, but if it is not ready by 2nd week of october, I want to put my application alone and thinking of calling my spouse at later stage.
My query is that is this possible, that I put my application without my spouse and then calling my spouse at later stage, say 6 or 9 months after reaching there in Canada.

What will be the procedure for then calling my spouse to canada?
Do I need to put the PR application again for her?
What may be the application fees for this application?
What documents are required for these?
Also any proof of funds required at this stage, since  I will be there in Canada and she is joining me there?

and most importantly, how much time will it take to proeces such application?
Requesting you to guide properly.

if you do not include your wife name now it may be a fresh process of its own

If you can not wait then fill her details and under passport number of your wife mention that it is applied for  with the explanation note and attach the receipt copy - from passport office (application RECEIPT).  This may be one way you can give try. Acceptance chances are less.

Not a good idea to apply for spouse at a later stage. This will be then applied under family class, will take around 18 months after you apply and will have dependence on your stability in Canada

Best option is to wait till you get her passport.
