My file is in a slightly advanced stage I must say. I have done the medicals & also paid that fee. Normally, one expects the passport request letter after this. But in my case it's a damn interview!

BTW, newyorker, I have asked New Delhi abt how they will treat my case. They haven't replied me yet.

Has anybody heard of people getting US visitor visa just to attend the interview for PR.
I have read PMM saying that the chances are very slim, but I just want to see if people have actually got it.
I personally know a guy who got it from India last year. But he also had a canadian work-permit at that time. Maybe that helped.

 my suggestion is to try anyway.
