Hello, one week after the interview of my wife at the VO(she apply for a permanent resident visa) i had a call from the embassy and they ask me(the sponsor) few questions. They said to my wife after interview, we will make a decision in a few days, watch your email. After the call, they said the same thing, after few days, you will have the decision by email. My wife is a filipina and the interview was made in Manila, and the sponsor live in canada and received a call at home in canada from the embassy. The officer at the phone told me than they have recorded the interview of my wife at the end of the call. What they tried to know more about us? I said the same than my wife. Is it positive or not? thank you very much to anybody who experienced the same before.

Not experienced in this regard but have heard on the forums that they confirm that what is mentioned in the application is true and that you both know each other. If there is contradiction between what you said and what your wife said than application in problems and if both of you gave the same answers than application approved. verifying genuineness of marriage.
