I'm a Canadian just.. gathering information before I start my process for my Egyptian husband I am about to sponor=)
Are you guys all waiting this long.. after your sponsor has already been accpeted to sponsor you?
or are you still waiting for your sponsor to be approved?
I'm trying to gather a Timeline here... becuase I want to go back to my husband after I am accepted Insha Allah
Can you .. tell me?

Hi,Spritz! we r all waiting after being approved. i was approved in January after sending all papers in the end of November.File was received in Cairo VO in January 21 .I haven;t heard anything since then.Here is my timeline.When u sponsor ur hubby ,be prepared and patient. Well you know we haven't started, it's been three months and we're both so impatient.
It's so hard =S
How do you become to patient with everything? I know my hubby is currently frustrated with the Canadian Law and it's system to bring him to me. hehe

Question for the group (while we are waiting for the ambassy to contact us ) Where will your spouse be landing in Canada once they receive their visa? My husband will be landing in Ottawa. He has been talking with NewVet (who just landed in ottawa in june) and im happy to see he will know someone from Egypt once he arrives in Canada On my side, ive met his wife last week! It was great to talk with someone who went tru the same thing as me ~ Mels |

He will be landing in Totonto... do you choose where you land.. or does someone do it for you in teh Canadian embassy? BTW I'm waiting for my Egyptian husband to come to me. It would be nice to hear some stories of how people made it to Canada.. by sponsoring.. howfast it worked and everything. Has anyone been accepted to sponsor while on a part time job or living in subsidised housing? please let me know, in that current situation right now.  |
