Congratulations to you guys and hope you continue to have the joy and happiness you have now! I am extremely happy for you all and I wish you all, as well as the rest of the members in this forum all ,the best and hope everyone unites back with their hubby soon and enjoy a happy, loving, peaceful and wonderful life together. Mels, my husband went for his interview on Jan 15th 2012 and they also didn't take his passport but the next day, Jan 16, she called him and asked to send new Police Certificate and they mailed him the Medical Extension and she said he has 30 days to submit all those. He did all they asked for and now we're just hoping to hear from them.
Best of luck to everyone who's waiting for the good news and congrats once again to everyone who's now finished with the wait. God bless you all!

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows how long it generally takes Happy International to translate the qaid el aeli and the criminal check - I just found out a friend is flying from Cairo to Ottawa on Thursday, and I'm wondering if they do next-day translations of these docs (if we could provide them tomorrow morning), or if it takes something more like a week. I would call them myself, but I'm sure they're closed now, so thought I'd check here first Thanks!! |

i guess happy international can translate all documents in one day ,,, they have the ready forms so they will just modify names and dates ,,, wount take long at all
Thanks fox82, that's right, I called them early this morning and they said they can translate both the qaid and the crim. check on the same day (!), as long as you can drop off the documents to be translated in the morning, at 10 am. The number is 02-27959947. Good luck! |

Unfortunately they only sent his passport with visa inside, a letter and a form to give when he arrives in Canada I would of loved to get back some photos or even some translated documents but I have copies of everything. I just wanted everyone to know that we got a package in the mail today from CIC. They returned our photographs and original documents we sent, including my husband's children's birth certificates and our translated marriage certificate.

I have a question...my husband got his medical done march 11/ 2011...does it expire from the date the medical done or the date of when I submit appendix c along with the application? He had an interview on jan 16...they asked him for a new criminal record..up til now we haven't heard anything back...so if they required a new medical for example..do they usually ask for it ahead of time? Or we have to make our own judgemnet about this matter? And get a new one? Do we habve to get a new one if they haven't asked??? Plz replyyy!! I'm dying here!! |
