Which DMP did you use? Did they understand this is a sponsorship? Did you have to explain? Did they tell you what to bring with you?

I know this should not be a concern if it these DMP's read and abided by their instructions. But since that was not the case please let me know.
The other curious question is I see a big gap (few months) between receiving approval as sponsor to files received by VO in cairo. Why so? Can anyone tell? without naming members but you can see that on their profile progress.

I think what happens is when the file reach VO cairo, they just sit sumwhere in a pile without anyone opening it.
Then when they finally open your file and enter it into the system, then thats when we see update on the CIC web saying file recieved. Then after a while they start processing it. For me there is like a month between the time they say file recieved and the time of processing.
And of course we have no control over any of that we just wait and see.
They have 14 months and they will take their time they are not in rush.

That happened with my hubby's status of processing time  many times usually something happened in his case afterwards so I would think they were workng on the file but in actuality it's probably just a gliche in the system.

HI Brother, How is everything with you? Ok to answer your question, I think it could be a glitch, but I really believe that they are working on the files when they do that. Ya Rabb! My ecas did the same thing btw!!
Besides that, i'm holding in, taking one day at a time. I been at work a lot lately, so I haven't really come on here in a while, but i do check in from time to time. Its good to hear from you, and to see everyone on here is doing so great!! Alhamdulillah.
