Good Morning everyone  I do not know if someone has the answer but does anybody knows if immigration gives back the certified translated copies (ie. Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, etc) that we attached with the application ? If not, should we retranslate all documents before my husband lands in Canada ? Thank you in advance! ~ Mels |

But now I'm wodering..why am I the only one that was asked for an interview?
Is it maybe because my husband lives in Cairo ? And he doesn't have to send the passport by dhl since he lives 10 mins away from the embassy?
Coz they did ask him to bring in his passport and 8 photos with white background..I'm just curious..
He could easily prove that our relationship is still going..I visited him last in november 2011 and I'm actually pregnant now! Isn't that enough for a proof?

I have no idea why some needs do the interview and some are waved  I was shocked that we were waived because I have a very picky employer! I would presume there is something they didn't see or would like to know more within the application... That is my guess! I'm positive that the interview will go well for your husband and inshallah he will be with you very fast for the most happiest moment of your life!! ~ Mels |

well mrs kandil me too i went through an interview not only me but many members here dd an interview ...i am sure ur huby wll pass it easy u cant know what the reason for interview may be if you order for CAIPS this may help to know good luck |

My hubby sent his passport by dhl jan 5 and it moved that day the 6th and the 7th everything was closed the 8th today it says "scheduled for delivery as agreed" It should say delivered . What is happening with your hubby's courier? And I forgot to ask you..... your hubby got a call saying to send his passport but did it ever say medical received on the site.

Hi Louisa The embassy is closed friday and saturday (to my knowledge) and I just looked on the DHL website and I have the same entry as you They might update it later tonight or we should see a change tomorrow (I hope!!) As for the medical... I've seen the "medical is received" since the case was added to the CIC website I never saw it removed since it was added last year Have you found answers of our previous questions (about what will be given back upon receiving the visa) ? ~ Mels |

yes i want to ask you the same question lousia asked you ..about ur medical results
i think louisa means the 2nd medical test ....did u see medical results been received ( the 2nd test not 1st one)
about what will the embassy send back with the passport ,,i guess they will send everything all supporting documents and evidence of relation (pictures , card , letters ...etc) they will just keep the application
may be i am wrong but thats my guess

I am hoping they give everything back but I'm not counting on it. My hubby has all his original documents in arabic but I have all the translated registered english ones and I plan to bring them with me to the airport incase there is a problem.All the embassy has is photocopies of everything but the police checks and I haven't found out if they send it all back or not its a question I don't know the answer too and fox was right I wanted to know if your hubby's results was on the website about the second medical.
Also the embassy site says it's open sunday-wednesday but i went back and read madamadams and sheilala's and one of them said they only accept papers in the visa section monday and thursday. and they got an email confirming when they send the visa out to our husbands.
Fox did you get your results back yet??

thank you louisa may be on 25 january . i hope your husband receives his passport soon That's great Lily our husbands might be on the same plane lol My hubby's passport arrived to the embassy this morning at 11:46 so now its just to wait until they send it back. I'm having surgery on the 18th so we are planning him to fly out on the 25th or 26th I have so much to do here at home to prepare and I my body is exhausted from being over excited!!!!! I am so happy I don't know how to deal with it all lol. I live in nova scotia does anyone else live in nova scotia?? |
