I applied april 14/ 2011... Got approved may 20/2011...application sent to egypt for processing june 2/ 2011... Sent back to ottawa pilot case processing centre Oct 8th/ 2011.... Called my husband for an interview Dec 23/2011...which is weird coz I got pregnant and I sent them my doctors's report and 10 days later they called him for an interview..

can you tell me what was your status e-case on website before they call you hubby? is that was in process or aplication received

It was application received...its been application received since Oct 27...before that it was in process...and even after they updated the site with the interview information, it still says application received..

Ok did they tell u right away that u were approved? Did they take the passport and called u in a week or so and told u to come and pick it up? Or they just interviewed u and took ur passport and didn't call u back??
I wonna lnow what happened exactly plz

yes they will tell your husband that he is approved right away and ask him for passport ,,in my case as my medical was expired so they gave me some package to re do medical test and asked me for fresh criminal record plus taking my passport

thank you for your nice wishes i re-did medical test 26 of November yes i know i am still withing normal time line but i am feeling so excited knowing all these good news in our forum

Good News Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now officially in the visa assurance club. Got an email today from the embassy in Cairo to send in my passport and two pictures. Thank you all for your help and support this past year and may you all be blessed this new year!

I was hoping to get positive news soon from you because your application was received in Cairo at the same time as my husband!!

My husband passport was sent this morning with DHL... Now lets see how long the last step will take

Congrats Fresh Prince and Taqy they are just flying now whoooooooohoooooo God is Great thanks to God.

My husband sent his passport and two pics today with the copy of the letter.. by DHL they told him it would arrive by Saturday Im hoping it takes just 8 days like madamadam's.


I can't believe all the good news and I'm so happy for all of us


I have been so hyper theese days I actually paged over the PA at my work about my hubby coming lol
everyone there is so excited for me and said we deserve it so much.Everyone deserves to be together when they are married.My Family can't wait to meet him and my daughter has called and told all her friends lol


I have been checking prices for airfares, and wandering about insurance I think he needs medical insurance until he gets everything active here I have a million questions still lol the license to drive here is complicated and he is going to see about getting an international drivers license so he can drive when he arrives until he gets a license from here.I am wandering if he will fall under the new law of waiting two years for PR and how does he get his social insurance number lol

anyway Im just so darn excited he is coming and soon and I get to spend 5 weeks alone with him too I have this much time off work oh yah!!! lol
