forgot to ask about something , in another thread i asked if i can go back to egypt to spend some time with my husband someone replied me saying that i can't do so except for short vacations ( 2 weeks ) i can't stay a long period & that if the immigration in canada knew that im not in canada the whole process can be cancelled , is that right ?

Are you a PR or Canadian citizen if you are a PR then if they find out you are "living" outside Canada then they will cancel the app but as a citizen you are free to go Vacations are normally up to 1 mth after 1 mth then you are normally not considered on vacation this is with the mindset that Canada has a minimum 2 weeks vacation for every year worked and sometimes you accumulate more depend on years of service would 6 mths be considered a vacation no it would not but maybe a mth or even 2 and thats pushing it |

you said your whole process started in march, do you mean you sent the file to mississauga in march or the file was recieved at cairo in march?? cuz i sent my file to mississauga in april, so maybe they will send me an e-mail soon i hope, thanks dear,

hello spirit, they received my sponsorship application & PR application on march then i received my csq on 25/5 stating that they sent the PR application to cairo visa office however few days ago my husband received that email from cpp-o stating that his application is in process there in ottawa so i dont know whether the application was sent to cairo visa office & it is processed or they didn't send it & it is processed in ottawa now |

Thank you so much for welcoming me and helping me with my questions!! I am sorry for not getting back to you soon, I been at work, basically all day Sheliah and Spirt I appreciate your help so much! Ok to answer your question.... Mississauga received my application on july 5th and I havent heard anything from them yet...InshaAllah I will hear something from them soon, just not sure when I really do pray everday that we all get a fast process soon, so we all can finally be with our husbands and wifes, and I will continue to pray for people all over to get a fast process as well, even when my husband finally reaches me.
