sheila-la my hubby received the exact same letter as you he emailed it to me today. And they also started a profile under his name with his UCI number.
So its looking like all the files are going to Ottawa.

I'm trying to find information about .. how to make an affidavit in Egypt?
I have to have my husband make a few for our case... but I have no idea, and he has no idea, where to go for it.
Since he hasn't ever made one before.
Would nay of you be able to help me with that?

iam new here .i have been through lots of things about sposorship .
Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor EHAB ELSAYED ALY MONTASER on August 18, 2010.
 
We started processing your application on September 15, 2010.
 
We sent you a letter on September 15, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

and then they started to process my application on the 4th of november 2010

i got an email from them on the 25 of august for some enquires

they asked me to send somethin to prove the ongiong relationship between me and my wife and photo wedding

i sent them lots of emails between me and my wife , some reciepts for some money i transfered throught western union , card she sent me in my birthday and receopts for some gifts i sent to here  and album for some photo with me and my family .
i am wondered because if the difference of age between me and my wife (20 years diffrence ) will that be a problem . for that reason he inquired those things to prove the relationship or what Huh and after the visa office recived those prove will that be enough and will that take more time . i hope any one of you guys can help me in my case

Welcome lion heart

CIC website states average processing time in Cairo is 12 months.  Although we are finding our files are being transferred to Ottawa Pilot office due to the conflict in the middle east.  So you can estimate that your file should be complete by September 15, 2011.  I would suggest that if you have had no contact with them by the end of this coming week, send them an email asking about the status of your application as it has now been 1 year.  Good luck.

Hi,all!

I have a question for all of you;

My husband got an e-mail saying:

Kindly arrange for a pre-paid courier in order to pick-up your passport as your visa has now been issued.
 
Collection hours are Sunday through Wednesday at 3:00 PM and Thursdays at 1:00PM.


What we have to do?Do we have to send an empty envelope inside for his passport?
Any ideas?Please let me know...

contact DHLi think they know what to do
i got email from embassy too this morning they already send my passport back with DHL
Dear Sir,
 
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
 
We are pleased to inform you that your immigrant visa has been issued.  It will be sent to your mailing address within the coming few days through DHL based on cash on delivery system; which means that you will have to pay the courier delivery charges directly to the DHL representative.

they give me the tracking number too that shows i got my passport tomorrow  Smiley
