It means visa officer with the name initial FDQ, opened and sat on your file last March 2, 2011. BFD-Bring Forward Date FDQ-Name initials of the visa officer Regards. Dear qorax

1. Before that statement there'd be a header in 'dashed lines', which'd state when your VO opened the file & logged. 2. On 02/3/2011 s/he had despatched your file to a VO staff named "FDQ" for Microlocator. 3. Microlocator is the cell where our files get micro-filmed, for posterity ! 4. Till the time another 'major' action is done - this line would be there everywhere on your CAIPS. Hope u r satisfied... Qorax |

Our 'paper file' is micro-filmed by CIC & kept digitally for yrs. together. This is done once the file has been assessed for 'initial eligibility' - means when the 1st AOR is sent. Qorax |
