Please tell me if anyone has any experience about CAIPS notes.
I applied for immigration in September 2006. Should I request my CAIPS notes or waite till later stage.

if you applied in sept 2006, its too early to ask for CAIPS.

BTW, y u need caips?

Caips notes are not useful before IA (Intial Assessment)

Here are exact words:
"No processing will occur on your file for approximately 36-42 months. This is our current estimate; how ever circumstances may change. Please consult the CIC website for up-to-date information on processing time at our office:"
