Hi,

I recently found the links below and I realized how useful for an applicant is to obtain his/her CAIPS notes as soon as possible after he/she got the AOR.
http://caipsnotes.com/About.shtml#2
http://immig-canada.blogspot.com/2009/04/what-will-my-caips-file-tell-me-note.html

Now I am thinking to obtain my CAIPS notes and, since I do not live in Canada, I would like to ask other members of this forum what procedure they followed and what are their experiences (good or bad) related to obtaining CAIPS notes.

Also if somebody has used the services of the CaipsNotes.com, how much it costs and how long it takes
to obtain only the CAIPS notes (not the entire file)?

Thank you,
Daria

Getting CAIPS notes are not so expensive and difficult task. It costs only CAD 5 (Five dollars).
Usually CAIPS required only when some ones application is delayed for a considerable period and no reply from embassy for the enquiries.
In normal case no need to get the CAIPS and it does not help any way.
