I received my caips note by email today. It is a 18 pages long paper. I have a couple questions. It doesn't seem to have codes like caips...which is weird..

It says for medical: IN PROGRESS?  Assessed for: PR-EDE
what does that mean? Have they received it and everything is alright?

CRIMINALITY: NOT STARTED
SECURITY: NOT STARTED

In incoming correspondance, it says it has received my Police certificate deposit on June 2nd 2011, but it reached the embassy on May 12th 2011..How come, almost 2 months later?

Also at the end from FOSS NOTES, it says:

CASE REFERRED TO BOGOTA, CASE REFERRED TO BOGOTA, CASE REFERRED TO MICC MONTREAL 0


anyone can help?

Seems like the agent there in Bogota hasn't written anything about our case Sad

"EDE" means "excessive demand exempt".

Also for the criminality/security, they say, due date: december 2011...are they going to take all this time?

I'd also like to know answer to that question. My due date for security checks is Jan 2012.

It doesn't look like examples of CAIPS that I found on the net... I received 23 pages.
Each part (medical, criminality, eligibility etc.) has it's own due date.
No bring forward date anywhere...
Maybe it's new looks of CAIPS, without codes, to make things easier to understand.

What you are getting are no longer CAIPS notes but GCMS notes ..... which have a different format not documented as much
