There are some changes in new CAIPS form and

If you have a relative in Canada you can now pay $5 CAIPS / GCMS fees online with  credit card. No need to fill any credit card forms

File information can now be received in GCMS mode as CIC has introduced this facility recently for receiving info about files from CAIPS to GCMS). Apply for GCMS file info.
