CAIPS and case specific query
«
on:
March 23, 2011, 01:41:12 am »
I has been 6 months since I submitted my doc to visa office
Status is still RBVO
When should I apply for caips so that it is useful?
When should I send a case specific entry?

It is better you order CAIPS in stead of case specific inquiry as visa officers are always busy and they get irritated unnecessarily. If you are in a position to order caips, do that. Else you can send an inquiry and see what they say first as it will cost you nothing.
Hope this helps.

Within 6 months would they have updated CAIPS.
When do they assign points ? Does the ecas need to be "in-process" to see the points.
Mine is still in RBVO

True, but if you order CAIPS now and GCMS is available, you will get GCMS notes.

Thanks Baloo,
what I meant to ask was would my points have been calculated by this and updated in CAIPS (or GCMS)
since it is still showing RBVO in ecas , or do I need to wait until it shows "in-process"
