As you have received the medicals. I would suggest u to go ahead with your process. Once you get the visa then u have one year to land. Land there just before expiry of your visa. then you will become PR, after 2 or 3 days you can come back to your mom and live with her for next 3 years, because to maintain PR you have to live 2 years out of 5 years. I wish within 3 years your mom gonna be alright. after 3 years you can move to Canada and apply for Super visa for your mother. Everything gonna be fine. Just my opinion but decision is yours.

I accidently read you thread.I like to make my input

I salute your selfless decission.You are a wonderful kid to you parent.I know how much of pain they had raising us in most troubleed and rough period in our history.

 But I am insisting please do your medicals and Land and come back one of my friend(Med doc with 3 Chaps) landed and returned.Now he had done his part and preparing to go again.This type of opportunities come once in blue moon and should not miss.

Then you have options for future of your kids

I was surpirsed to see this thread come up again and re-read it all.  I cannot believe that it all happened a year ago now.  Where did that year disappear to?  It is good in some ways that the medicals took so long to come giving Ruka and family time to contemplate all sides of this life-changing decision.  I suspect Ruka's decision is still not 100% settled and I wonder  how things are going?
