I really though of migration for some time. It was a real struggle inside me to take the decision.

My parents are really old and they would badly miss me if I make the move.
The main reason for my deciding to go to Canada was my kids' future.

But I finally decided not to proceed with the migration plan.

I have decided to build a new house here and live there with kids and parents.

Thanks a lot for all your wishes and help during the last few months.

And thanks for the friendship in this community and there are great minds who are really willing to help others.

special thanks to ankit, meena, ICE_CUBE and Qorax.

I am really really going to miss you all.

Wish you all the very best.

@ Ruka

I'd sincerely advise u to hold-on, not to withdraw your apps. U had been here a long-time already... long on this forum... quite many valuable posts... which proves your dedication towards our common cause!

The picture that u painted, applies to many of us, including me. Yes, in life, sometimes we might get distracted as to what we r supposed to do, vide what we did. Things might become quite distraught too many a times, we could get confused while deciding... but, we ought to maintain our serenity & take action/s that would have long-term ramifications. This, Canadian PR processing, is one such!

Go ahead Buddy, take your Canadian call... land, when u get to that, AND return to attend your familial obligations. Which would actually be the most wisest thing to do. Settling in Canada could then remain an "open" foray. U may take your time. but "closing" this door at this juncture isn't wise.

I only hope u pay heed to what I said & have't taken any drastic step/s already.

Stay on Brother!

I cannot agree less with Captain Qorax!

Some of us are made already in our home town...with familiy responsibilities...

The beauty of this Canadian stuff is the flexibility of staying or not in Canada.

Just take it for the fun of it and who can tell when the need would arise? Please my dearest saki, shange your mind on this issue as whatever you do will have a serious effect in the future.

Continue to think of the future of your kids as usual and get the PR!

May the Lord God continue to bless us all

Hi Ruka,

Sad to hear about your decision. On the other hand, happy to hear that you have decided to stay in SL with your whole family.

Good Luck.

Ruka you have invested a lot of time in this, I admire your thought about staying there in Sri-Lanka and take care of your parents. But why do you need to close the pathway of immigration for that. It's a option which you can afford without putting any more effort and without putting any one spatially your parents in harms way. Just get the PR card and come back. Mind it NOC 0213 is not on the list and who knows when it returns, I think it wood be wise to revise your decision so that you can have one more option if you need it.
