Okay Guys,
Almost most of the applicants in this forum just 1-9 months away from getting PR. It's time now to think about the jobs in Alberta.
What if the economy is not improved and not more jobs in Alberta? How  do we survive there? How long we need to wait for jobs?

Unlike USA, our visa status allows us to start our own business and create more jobs for others. So I would like to share our thoughts in this thread on what kind of business we can start in Alberta as an alternative to Job hunting?

Thanks
Chow

Chow:

This is a good idea.  A good starting point would be taking an inventory of skills/interests of any interested folks.

I am from the financial services industry with experience in corporate finance and M&A advisory.  Probably not the ideal skills for today's market but things, as always, will change.

Cheers,
