The processing time at Buffalo has recently been increased from 12 months to 13 months (=56 weeks). Each time I come to check this forum topic, I get confused re: the time distribution. As far I understood that an AOR/Medical can take >30 weeks nowadays instead of 16~20 weeks. What about the rest?
Can someone break down the whole processing time in each step (i.e. AOR, Medical, PPR, PR etc.) based on recent experience?
People like me who are at initial stage will be benefitted. Thanks.

Hi, guys, i have a question for you all. I got the ontario pnp certificate today, however, it stamped with a word " copy", I phoned pnp office ontario, they say this is orginal certificate, i am confused how come the orginal certificate stamped with "copy"  ?? |

superboy, Today I received the PR card for my hubby, but missing mine and my kids, I don't know why? is it normal that that they send separately? Sept15, my friend my card has been received and I am done for now, next step citizenship. I am about to make a final decision on not to proceed with US PR process, my oldest son does not want to go to US, and neither my youngest one. My wife and I have talked about it and we are about to make a final decision.

Hi Mahesari: I applied in early january of 2011. Buffalo office is very slow; its been taking them 30 weeks minimum to issue a AOR. i hope you will be getting anytie between 4-6 weeks. Keep in touch sam |

Mine was similar with the stamp "COPY" in blue. At first, I was bit confused seeing that. But I did not bother to call anyone. I followed the directions provided with the letter from PNP. You probably have to send this original PNP certificate (which has "COPY" mark) to CIC. Just make sure that you photocopy everything you are sending out. |

for everyone:
I got refered by someone that you are very knowledgeable with Immigration issues. I need your advice.
I am currently employed as NOC code 2132( highly skilled), but I am working on a open post grad work permit. I was recently able to get my vise a visitor visas; she is coming here next week.
Now can she apply for an open work permit based on my current ssituation at port of entry? She can prove them that I have a skilled job by showing my company letter that I wrote to CIC for issuing her the visas. I can also show them my PNP certificate which clearly states that I am a mechanical engineer- NOC 2132.
Based on current situation I need your advice. It would be helpful if you can reply to this answer quickly cz she would be flying in a week now and I am still getting all the mixed answers.
