it doesnt seem like they issue ppr close to date of initial submission. mine was mar 12th. I am still waiting.....
Thanks Procan. For some reason I thought you have received yours. Did you inquire of its status? When is your IA dated (if any)? If I were you I would email them and see what they reply. If you did not get it by next Wednesday, order CAIPS but I pray that you get it before that... If yours is NOT under background check, you should receive it any time. Did they ever say that you are under BG checks? If not, I would not worry... Thanks. |

Nope, that wasnt me. I am still in the unlucky circle it seems  I got the IA on Nov 10th, 2010. I did sent email as well as case specific enquiry last week. I havent got any reply yet. I sent another case specific enquiry this week also, since its been more than 12 months (more than avg processing time), they have to reply. but I havent even got a confirmation email which we usally get, when we send a enquiry  anyways, i cant do anything either, other than waiting, right? Thank you all.
All done. I mailed everything - Xpress mail and yes, she said it will take 3 days to reach there. Included:
1. Cover letter
2. photos (I also included my daughter's pictures just in case and I am 99.9% sure that they do not need hers).
3. height weight specifications.
4. return Xpress mail.
5. Passports (I did not include my daughter's passport though). I am not sure what they will do with that (She has a Canadian one). BUT I did include her Birth Certificate and copies of her passport , which were mailed already - 2 times maybe!
6. Email requesting passport request.
NOW waiting for few more weeks - Then Landing. Then VACATION!
I pray and wish our other friends: WinnipegMB, Chigirl, VBomb gets them soon.
Chigirl - It looks like they are sending PPR close to the date of initial submission. Mine was received March 18 and today is March 16. Yours will be next week...

I personally do not think so because 1) We did our medicals in Oct 4, 2010 even though we received medical call on July 2, 2010 because my wife was pregnant. 2) Our medicals were NOT received before Nov 18 because there was a name error in my wife's name and I had to talk with Ottawa and my Doctor to arrange that. Ottawa corporated way too much and results were sent again in 2 weeks time. Procan will get it anytime IF he is not on background checks... |

4mfamily, Super, Governor, SIndbad and others who have sent their passports - Please let me know when you receive your passport back because we need to book our flights to back home and if we wait too long, the prices of tickets will be too high at the last moment....
We sent our passports yesterday and they are already in Stoney Creek, ON - Looks like it will be in Fort Erie today or tomorrow - earlier than expected.
