Sorry guys, but I won't take the risk of sending photos that don't meet the requirements...is the final stage so this is an investment for your and your family's future, I take it that way so it is not a waste of money...just my 2 cents. If someone wants to go that route that is fine but I won't do it...
Hi, I have used epassportphoto.com and they accepted my application at CIC. There are others like my colleague, vsrao etc who have used the service and it works.

For all those whose timelines are close to mine, and whose file is stuck in Buffalo, I received my CAIPS Notes yesterday. The only information I could gather is my file bring forward date is 03.01.11. ( Considering others ahead of me have not received their pprs, I doubt they will keep to this schedule). File shows my medical results have been received, RPRF paid, and my IA date. No decision yet on background check
Thanks chill - Thats March 1, 2011? Right? What do you mean by: I doubt they will keep to this schedule. You mean they do not have any schedules like we planned. Makes sense because there are many other Visa Officers there too.... Mine might be processed later than yours even though I am ahead of you because your VO has fewer files. Any other useful informations? so what I understand is - Yours will be soon. Are they doing any background checks on you?

Yes, you are probably right. I was just making the assumption based on the people ahead of me who have not received their pprs yet. Like I mentioned only other information, date medicals received, date my IA assessment was done, mentions that they have received my PCCs and FBI and mention that no other docs are required. No decision yet on background check and final decision. There's no info on background checks. After my IA in November, I think this is probably the first time they will be reopening my file.

Excellent News. Be Glad. My next target is: March 18 - An email to inquire the status (if I did not receive anything by then)... Keep us posted, chill Girl. And yes, you need to 'chill'

Yes, you're right. I need to "chill". At this point I've become so skeptical, I do not know what to expect from Buffalo.

Super - Two things to make sue of: 1) Right size of the return envelope (Its in the Buffalo website - they do not like the very small package). They have a minimum size that they ask for. 2) Write down your address on the envelope and take with you the tracking number.
The way it works - Canada Post provided Express mails ONLY for within Canada mailing. Since your package goes to Port Erie then trucked to Buffalo and then it comes and gets mailed out from Port erie and NOT Buffalo, you are good. The pacakages are trucked from Port Erie and to Port Erie by Consulate. This is why they asked you to send it to 1) Port Erie and 2) Express Mail.
In short, make a note of tracking number and your Express Mail is for within Canada and NOT USA Express (return envelope of that does not exist).
Clear?
Man..you were so sharp in that answer....yes, I agree. All I meant was that I haven't had any issues...I know other people have been waiting for very long.

Hi, You can dowload them to a file. Take it to Walmart photo kiosk on a USB or CD or SD card and print it on a regular 4x6 sheet. Come home and cut each of them and they will be in the CIC specified size. Thanks, L.B

No, the email PPR is the only one they will send... At least now you don't have to worry anymore it's only a matter of weeks and you'll be a permanent resident already. I'm happy for you hi! Rubyalabar,

Hi,
To those who got communication from Buffalo. When buffalo sends the PPR, RPRF or any communication, does the email subject have a suffix like '- LH/MG' ?
Did anyone who received the RPRF, PPR have something like this in the subject?
Thanks, L.B

E.B - Nice catch. Yes, I got a response from an email address that sends PPR and yes, the subject line ended with: lh/mg . I wondered about that but thought its insignificant. Any idea what it means? This is the first time they had this one on the subject line.... Any clue?
