u need to contact with buffalo  may be they transfer ur file to detriot , or some where else , send all document regarding ur new born babay  to ottawa , so they can tansfer ur document to right place , coz they know where is ur right know
or if u r in canada call to 1800 no talk cic official

This thing is taking forever. I'm already impatient!!
I don't know what else they want from skilled workers. I'm paying about 40k in taxes every year to the government and yet they have not granted my PR status after 26 months. Ughhhhhh...

but u'r luckier than me. we applied about same time but no meds for me. Sad

i talked with one lawyer in canada according to him , wait for 60 days
may be every one will get some news from ottawa near about 5th aug 2012

Hi Guys,

My eCAS status shows "In Progress" with the following details:

We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Medical results have been received.

Has anyone got this in their eCAS..? Also based on the status any idea how much time will it take for the PPR request from Ottawa..?

Your advice is highly appreciated..

I had sent my medicals on May 21 2012 and "Medical Request received " was seen in ecas on June mid sometime..

The Case Processing Office Ottawa just got updated and i guess i got it updated on my ecas on 1st week of July.

Now based on all this i am not sure when should i expect some news..some people are saying wait is 60 days..does that mean i should expect some response from Ottawa on Sep 1st week..? (my ecas showed Case Processing Office Ottawa in 1st week of July)

Use the same email address as before to contact them. It seems to be buffalo-immigration..... I can not remember the full address.  However,  if you emailed them something before you are supposed to find that.

Did they request any additional documents from you? The reason I'm asking is because Buffalo requested some documents from me. Since they already closed and I haven't received any "official" email regarding my files getting transferred to Ottawa from Buffalo, I'm kind of lost as to where to mail the documents.

I've emailed Buffalo regarding this and interestingly enough, I believe New York, with this email address: cngny-immigration @ international.gc.ca, responded on July 18, 2012 and said that my files have been transferred to Ottawa and that I should wait for thirty days before contacting them.

I only have until July 31, 2012 to submit my addictional documents as per the instructions from Buffalo before they closed down.

Is anyone facing the same problem as I am?
