i am also wating for my passport request too
dont say its more delay in passpory request , i am waiting from last 7 months for ppr
so we will get passport request from buffalo or ottawa
if we have to send any more document where we have to send now buffalo or ottawa
plz do reply
Nobody knows what is happening. It is a total blackout. We just need to wait and the next few days will be enlightening. I have my pp at Buffalo since last week. |

Yes, I believe Ottawa is much faster than Buffalo. They took up Cairo VO files as well following the civil uprising in Egypt. Some cairo applicants from MI-4 2011 are already receiving medical results. This move should be good news for buffalo applicants.

The only thing that gives me some hope is that the Ottawa office have been processing permanent residence files for a while now.They are not a bunch of green horns that they need to train.Some of the Cairo files got response in less than a week.I'm just worried that Buffalo immigration officers will be disgruntled and will take all the time in the world to transfer the files.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:.....wrong info...etc.
I could check my ECAS before but now I can't....

We are in the same boat. Waiting for PPR right now. But I can get access to E-cas online. It haven't been changed for 3 months, with address disappeared. Hope there are some positive news from Ottawa. If you still have concern, you'd probably call CIC. But I doubt if they have any information for us..  |

Yes I'm sure. I guess I posted about that before but since some of the friends post two-page long news and posts no body saw my post I guess. I know two of my friends have the same situation. Our files have been transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa (I guess for medical): Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review. |
