Hello Katydid,

Really not sure why they are asking for LOR again. They sent the first request on the same date as the IP date which was on the 22nd of april. I sent the updated current LOR on the 2nd May and it was received by VO on the 4th according to the Canada Post's tracking tool. But the second request was issued by VO on the 1st May. It is asking for LOR, POF along with MR. So, they have apparently issued the subsequent LOR request before even my reply arrived at the VO. I have sent them a case specific email for an explanation.

The status in ecas is still "In Process" as before.

On a different note, has anyone done fingerprint for RCMP clearance check in advance?

What is LOR? sorry, I am not familiar with it

I just would love to  look how fast is going Buffalo lately.. when I went to the spreadsheet I got soo disappointed because it looks like it is not moving AT ALL then I started reading and thank GOD I see something is happening.. According to what I see it is taking around 24 to 26 months from the day getting to CIO.

Has anyone seen any change lately??? I mean probably since a few months Buffalo VO is making some good changes where we can have the hope of seing this moving way faster than 2 years.

Dudes and dudetes, the entire PhD thread is made of people that are in Canada already and have to apply in Buffalo. No one has gotten AOR there yet, even people that applied 6 months ago!

man you talk about slow all of us here are from 2010 most of us have already been waiting for more than 24 months and things are salting to move for us
in my case I live in canada and when I applied it was supposed to be 10 months max for people who live in canada and its been 25 months already
Hopefully ill be done in a couple on moths or so

I see you are 2012 so its been what 3 months....

Patience is all I can say cause in July they will have a new rule and its the same game all over again look at the june 2011 applicants they are stuck in the process and the july 2011 are almost done

It is requiring me to do medicals within 90 days together with submitting another FBI clearance, RPRF, and an updated proof of funds. Interview was waived. There wasn't any date on the letter but the envelope was postmarked on May 2, 2012. My ECAS turned into "in-process" on April 25, 2012.

Just wanted to share this good news

Hi seniors

I finally know that they cash my money order for my baby now but still no information for medical to my child.

First application sydney 2010 January
medical done April 2012
Child medical waiting
Resent FBI police certificate and all requested document while medical April 2012

My question is there any chance of PR rejection still?How long its take to add newborn baby and their medical? how long it needs for buffalo to send PPR and RPRF request?

do you know how long does it take to get pp (with stamped visa) back from buffalo. My pp is in VO for more than 2 weeks and I havent heard anything yet from buffalo office.
