Why are they requesing LoR again? Is it because that they need the updated LoR for your current job?

They Just asked the RPRF and medicals nothing else ,Buffalo is really working and better than other offices because they dont ask for any other docs if everything is already sent because detroit now asking for some docs afetr file transfer

Guys good luck for everyone and I am going to book the appointment and Ecas shows in process with start date 17th april,2012 and medicals are dated 2nd of may,2012 and recd 7th may

Hello Katydid,

Really not sure why they are asking for LOR again. They sent the first request on the same date as the IP date which was on the 22nd of april. I sent the updated current LOR on the 2nd May and it was received by VO on the 4th according to the Canada Post's tracking tool. But the second request was issued by VO on the 1st May. It is asking for LOR, POF along with MR. So, they have apparently issued the subsequent LOR request before even my reply arrived at the VO. I have sent them a case specific email for an explanation.

The status in ecas is still "In Process" as before.

On a different note, has anyone done fingerprint for RCMP clearance check in advance?

Yes, I received confirmation as soon as I sent an email. Also, I received another email this morning confirming that my email was forwarded to immigration team.

Thanks for the info Katydid.

I went to Commissionaires today to take the fingerprint impressions. They mentioned that the RCMP would process the request in next 72 hours in case of no prior criminal records and forward the result to VO. Finger crossed for quick progression in security check stage.
