Hey guys.....I am a new entrant to this amazing group. Following are my timelines:

Applied : May, 2010 (NS)
1st AOR : November, 2010
2nd AOR : From Buffalo , June, 2011
3rd AOR : 24th April (Status changed to in process).

I have a question regarding the 3rd AOR, I received last week. Following is an excerpt from that email :

We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.

In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:

• Proof of funds for yourself, and all family members. ($13,837)
• A letter of reference from your employer for yourself. Updated
• Passport size photographs (photographs must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM 3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications) for yourself, and all family members. (Needed for medical forms).
• Please provide current mailing address for yourself, and all family members.
• Right of Permanent Residence Fee Every principal applicant and his/her spouse/common law partner or conjugal partner is required to pay a Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF).
• Payment must be made according to the instructions on our website:        http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng&view=d
• The RPRF will be refunded if for any reason you do not immigrate to Canada

Except the RPRF, I had enclosed all the above documents in my original application. They why are they asking for it again? Is it possible that they lost my documents? Also, how long does it take from here to get the actual medical from here on?

Thanks a lot guys. You are doing a great job.

Cheers

I don't think you need to contact them. They will get in touch with you if they need any additional information from you.

Hi,

As per our fellow mates dates, I am expecting my medicals in may/june.
My question here is, My wife is in India, and she will return to US in the last week of July.  In case if I receive medicals in May/june, can I send the medicals alone or I will require to send my wife's medicals also along with mine?  Is it possible to send the medicals from India directly??

what are the options here in my case.

thanks in advance

avarava, they need updated documents of yours. It is a little bit weird that it seems that they usually send a medical request before RPRF.

What is your detailed status? In Process outside and inside it what is there. Do you see any line like
