  sun is rising here in Calgary. I have a few more questions.

1) why did you send them your WP again
2) why did you send it to Fort Erie? and not to VO Buffalo
3) how long did it take until they cashed the bank draft

4) When you did your medical, did you had to go to the listed doctor and do your lab test and x-rays at another place? How did your doctor get all doctuments as VO requestes that they get complete medical from the doctor?

Oh and 1 thing I forgot, did you ordered a receipt IMM 5401? or just send the draft check?

I would appreciate if you could answer few questions. I did my medicals last week and waiting for passport request frm Buffalo. I have not yet paid my RPRF? Can i go ahead and pay them in advance or should I wait for the CIC intimation? How did you receive the passport request is it through email or ordinary mail?

Thanks. As I remember, when I received my medical request the form also asked for RPRF in case I had not submitted yet. So I sent a money order the same week.

I received passport request through email and exactly 4 weeks after I did medical examinations.

you did not mention if your BF'd was 1st of March or 25th of March.
They obviously did something on your file and may its still traveling the desk(s) of the Visa Office officials.
this process could take some time before your files gets a new BF'd date.
I'd advise you to order CAIPS once again after 5 months.

what is your time line and which NOC?

wait to hear from them before sendin them the RPRF and PCC.
moreover, I dont think your bank would prepare a Demand Draft for RPRF without the request of it from your VO. better ask your bank.

I live in downtown Toronto. In fact, I am not a newcomer  . I have been living here since Sep 2008. I am an international student and applied for PR under Catagory-3 of FSW.

I had my challenges 4 years ago when I first came to Canada. I stayed the first few weeks with my cousin who had been living here for a while. Then, I rented a basement apartment with a friend for 1000/month. But later  realized that I could get a more decent apartment for that price.

Let me know if you have specific questions on living in Toronto.

Medicals Done got order rot get lab and X-ray done in 2 hrs once my results are in the DMP will send the file

I went to a DMP locted in the SE midpark way I live very close by so thats why i selected this one

My appointment was at 12:00 and was out of there by 1:00
Had Lab appointment at 1:30 in the south calgary health centre and by 2:30 we wereattne X rays as walkin
3:00 pm we were back home

The DMP told me that they should reeive the lab and xray results & thant they send them outevery friday
But since this friday is holiday itshould go out thursday

Hi Friends,

  Today(April 3,2012) I received MR from Buffalo  . They have asked  me to submit RPRF and proof of funding along with medicals. Also PCC. No other additional documents were requested though I have sent a copy of my new Passport, Master's degree certificate, work permit of my wife and mine and my son's Canadian passport in March.

I have almost the same situation with you. I submitted my file to CIO in May 27, 2010. My application got into process in Mar 12, 2012. I still did not receive anything concerning MR. I'm just curious where are you located right now??
