btw, did the Buffalo VO asked you for any doc apart from RSRP and Medicals?

Hi Cooldeeps,

No. It said no additional document was required at this time. I had updated some documents with RPRF one month ago.

Let's keep tracking what will happen thereafter.

Hello Everyone:

Has anyone figured why some applications are sent to other VOs and some are kept at Buffalo?
I mean, is there a system to it, or they just randomly send some to NY, LA, and Detroit, while keeping some in Buffalo... Any guesses?

MY ecase changed to Inprocess with RBVO inside, Friday Apl 14. Alhamduallah. Hope every thing goes smoth.

For security checks, CIC has advised M.P offices to check back every 4 weeks as it is updated monthly. As it has only been 2 weeks ( Easter break and all), they will release any information. The office has an electronic reminder and will certainly be checking near the end of the month.

Currently CIC is checking into your security clearances, your medicals will be next. There is usually very little information provided when this portion occurs for obvious security reason. They have advised to check back in a few week's time regarding another update, which we will be happy to do. They are aware  that your current permit expires in June.

I have applied under FSW .. sent the application to CIO on april 2010, sent full docs to buffalo in september 2010, dey received in first week of october (according to my tracking number ) ,got my 2nd AOR in April 2011 den got my medical request on 2ndfeb

Hi, experts:
I am may applicant, my application changed to In process with line of " your application were reviewd and started process on April 13, 2012."
Today, I recived a call from Buaffalo visa office asking me why I have filed refugee calim in Canada.
I have made this claim in May 2011 as result of war and fear of return to my country.
They asked me this claim will make troubles to me down the road. They asked me if I want to continue with my PR application or not?

My calim for refugee was accepted at CIC office and refered to IRB and I wait for my hearing. when I applied for refugee, I told the immigration officer that I have PR application and my status in Canada is study permit. He said that is okay, you can have the two application in the same time since the refugee application is not PR. Only those acceptted by IRB can apply for PR under protected person.

I need to call back Buffalo VO and address their question. How I can answer thier question without effecting my PR application?
Please experts let me know your opinion.

Hi GUys,
           Few questions -
1. Got a letter from the canadian office Detroit. They requested the right to permanent residence fee USD 490. I have applied for me and my wife for canadian PR. My question is i have to submit just USD 490 or USD 980 ?
2. Does any one know how long it takes to get FBI clearance in the US ? If yes what is the best way to get it done ?
3. How long does it take to get the PCC from the Indian embassy at Washington DC ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
