I understand and feel same as i m in the same situation...........plz check the whole list, you will find some whose timeline matches or nearby  ur timeline........although it depends on may different factors. Please keep faith in God, you will finish this long journey soon........when you look back to this time period after becoming canadian citizen  ............Best of luck.......you will get medical soon ! dont forget to give us rocking party   Enjoy your present..........After every dark night.....there is always sunshine day !

Dear All,

Ours is a different case. I applied for my PR visa in Feb 2010 (CIO) and April 2010 (New Delhi) and got married to my husband who have also applied in Feb 2010 (CIO) and April 2010 (Buffalo) but out visa offices were different.

After marriage he was not able to go back to Canada as his work permit expired and he was not able to get an LMO.

We had to update our spousal details in both the visa offices and also more documents requested from Buffalo like RCMP Finger print PCC and also proof of fund and jobs and present address.

Last Tuesday (20-03-2012) we got medicals request from Buffalo and we completed our medicals on 24-03-2012.

Now I am planning to update them with RPRF and also new PCC's before they request for new ones.

Keeping fingers crossed. God willing there should not be any more complications.

I did order CAIPS. I am waiting for it. Seems to me that all April 2012 applicants are in the same timeline. i am waiting for my back ground check now.

Hello every one. I got my CAIPS note. MY BFD was on Feb 2012 but I have not heard back from them yet. Shouldn't they put a new BFD? Why my BFD is for two months ago and I can not see new BFD? Is it old CAIPS they sent me?

I would like to inform you all that I finally got my visa and finished the landing process at Toronto Pearson Int'l AP.

I went to collect the visa myself last Tuesday (March 20th). It was fairly straightforward. I simply arrived at the One HSBC Center at around 8:00 am, handed in the documents (email, photo, passports, and note regarding eye color and height), and got the visa by 11:00 am.

The landing was even easier. You just go to the immigration section, they ask you a few simple questions. THEY DID NOT ASK ME TO SHOW PROOF OF SETTLEMENT FUNDS. This usually doesn't happen but it my case, it happened anyways. The whole process took less than 15 min.

The last thing I need to do is to take my wife to the Canadian border so that she too can land as a PR. We might also go to the CIC office in Mississauga.

I hope expedited processing for all your files.

I would appreciate if you could answer few questions. I did my medicals last week and waiting for passport request frm Buffalo. I have not yet paid my RPRF? Can i go ahead and pay them in advance or should I wait for the CIC intimation? How did you receive the passport request is it through email or ordinary mail?

They obviously did something on your file and may its still traveling the desk(s) of the Visa Office officials.
this process could take some time before your files gets a new BF'd date.
I'd advise you to order CAIPS once again after 5 months.

Congrats! Honestly, I am really jealous of you. The long wait makes us very anxious. I expect eagerly that it could end as soon as possible.
