Dear friends,

Thanks for the congratulatory messages and I reciprocate with my best wishes to all of you. I did my medical in India on 7 January and my updated docs (IMM0008 etc)+RPRF+original PCC from India) reached NYVO on 1 February 2012 and PPR mail is dated 9 February. I will now fly to NY to get my visa "In Person" for which I am sending a mail to NYVO explaining my location/situation and seeking permission. This has been tried and done by at least 3 forum members here. Their experience was to reach at NYVO at 08:00 am to submit their passports and they got stamped visas in afternoon of the same day. I will do the same. I am also thinking of personally going to NDVO on Monday to check if it can be done in New Delhi.

Cheers..

Cool...wish you all the best.

Cheesy
Hi all

I got PPR today. I have to submit my passport to Detroit visa office ASAP, and visa issuing process will take less than 10 business days.

Congrats Moein..

I completed my MD and sent to Detroit on Dec 2011 along with some documents what they requested.

But I got reply letter from them saying that , the documents are not satisfied VO, and requested to submit the documents within 60 days.

I sent all the documents to them on Jan 21... after the I didn't get any reply from them or not updated in ECOS...

How to get the information whether the documents are satisfied VO or not...
Is it correct to send query to VO... about documents are reached or not...pls help me on this...

Don't you send the documents to them by an courier? If you do you should know if it was delivered or not.

I finaly received my medical request. Documents arrived a few days ago, dated February 8. My application was transferred to Detroit on October 26th so it took well over three months. The envelope contained medical report forms, general instructions about obtaining and filing the medical reports, information about waived interview and requests for RPRF, updated FBI certificates, proof of funds and aditional updated documents regarding my employment history.
My medicals are scheduled for Feb 29. In my state of Florida, there is only one practitioner performing them and that date was the earliest i could get. It is going to cost $300 plus $75 for X rays for each applicant and aditional fee of $70 for mailing cost to Ottawa. FBI certificates should arrive next week and I am expecting updated documents from my employers soon. I will be ready to submit everything by the end of the month.

For me this is not a "done deal" yet, because of the questions regarding my complicated employment history - although I am hopefull that the updated documents will satisfy all the requirements.

I will keep you informed when I get any more updates.

For all who are stil waiting for your medical forms - be positive - you will get them and it is going to be soon.

Thanks.

Dear Friends,

My application is in NY office. It was transferred on to NY from Buffalo on Nov 3 and started processing on Dec 02. On the day of 23rd Dec, NY office has requested SEALED TRANSCRIPT of my degree from my University.
I was just wondering: Does anyone else got similar request from NY consulate. Or did anyone for Medical request from NY Consulate after you fulfilled the demand for sealed transcript. If yes how much time it takes after you send them transcripts.

Thanks

Finally I got medical request today. It is more than 90 days but do not go with my case guys because they lost my daughter's documents which I sent in November and waited 90 days. After 90 days passed they asked to resubmit. The letter what I got today has only medical request, no information about interview required or not? no police certificate request. Is that normal or I am still getting another envelop with all those documents request. Does medical request mean I have 67 points? Is there any chances of rejection after medical other than medical problem? How long does it normally take to get PPR after medical done?
Thank you,

Thank you,

Medical Request comes after you file has been selected....that means, you have met on all eligibility criteria. Usually, Interviews come before medical but may get after medical too (less frequent. If they need to check something on security perspective). Getting MR is a big positive step. They would also ask for RPRF fee. May be they will club it together with PPR.

If Medical is clear and security check (that goes in parallel) is good, next you should receive PPR.

All the best and Congratulations!
