I applied in 10/2010. Received 1st e-mail about file transfer to Buffalo in Feb 2011. Status is "application received by visa office".
Have not heard after that? What exactly is going on? Can any body please guide. How long it is going to take?

Regarding ECAS status - it still shows IN PROCESS - who knows when it gets udpated and usually every Tuesday but it did not change this morning. I will keep everyone posted.

Congrat EK. Are you in USA or in Canada? Was there any change in your ECAS status (Like medicals received etc). I have almost a similar time line like you. My medicals were received at Ottawa office on 30th of December. |

Just got my PPR today.
I don't expect everyone to understand how I feel but it is surreal. The thought of finally being able to work anywhere I like, not having to worry about whether or not my employer is open to sponsoring my work visa, the actual visa application, approvals, travel restrictions, etc. is just settling in.
My timeline is as follows :
