For Money order tracking: Tracking a money order online is relatively easy if you understand the necessity of keeping the receipt tab once attached to the money order. This tab retains the money order number needed to track down the status of a money order. Without the receipt stub, there is no way to ever find out whether or not the money order has been cashed. Money orders are not the same as wiring money. Wire transfers are much easier to track.
There are two ways to track money orders online and offline. These depend on the source of the original money order. If the order was printed at a retail store or the post office, the stub will need to be taken to the location where the serial number will be researched. When the money order is cashed, the serial number is reported as fulfilled. Some retailers and the USPS will charge a nominal fee for a report verifying the money order has been cashed.
If the money order was purchased from Western Union or a similar company, the money order serial number could be researched online. In this case, the purchaser will need to visit the official website, like WesternUnion.com, and enter in the serial number into the appropriate field. These searches are usually free, but some companies may charge for an official report stating the money order has been fulfilled and any details about the transaction that are not privacy protected.
for certified checks you have to ask your bank.
OMM
Thanks OMM, nicely described in details. I took money gram money orders from walmart .. very cheap (less than a dollar per 490$) .. very easy to track if that is encashed or not. Cheers,

So Went for Medical Tests yesterday with the local New Jersey DMP. Took 2 US Passport Size photographs for myself and my wife and our Passports for identification. These photos are used for the XRay and for blood test i believe. DMP has a standard MEdical Question Sheet from CIC in which they asked us to fill our name etc. details. The questions by DMP and their medical tests were very general and normal . 1.Gave the Green Medical Test Sheets to the Receptionist. She stamped the DOctor's name ,address 2.The DMP called me,my wife and kid one by one and did the normal medical checks (Eye,weight, height, blood pressure, took blood, urine etc.) 3.Asked for any medical conditions or any hospitalizations in the past or any medications we are taking. Also asked for any chronic problems in the immediate family. 4.Asked me and my wife to go for a Chest XRay. 5.We paid the DMP Fees and we were on our way home. DMP office did mention that they are obligated to send the results back to Ottawa in 7-10 "Business Days",which i believe is 2 Calendar weeks.

How much fees you paid per applicant? so, it will help to other members from US. (I know that this medical exam not covered insurance so, you have to pay from your pocket only). OMM So Went for Medical Tests yesterday with the local New Jersey DMP.

Hi Burcu, sportsboy, Jstar
Can you guide us, how many days it took for your Paspport request from the day you did medical.
Team, I think we should track this time line as well... I did my medicals on 5th Dec.. and DMP says it will take him 2 weeks before he will dispatch reports to Ottawa
Thanks
Hi, I had done my medicals in advance by early June - I'm not exactly sure how long it took them to update it in the system, but when I emailed Buffalo VO in August it was up already. I got the RPRF request on 15th of October and the passport request came 1 month after on 15th of Nov. So my guess would be around 2-3 months.

USD 300 for each adult USD 150 for below 5 year Kid USD 200 for 5-11 Year Kid These are the rates for that particular DMP in New Jersey.Other DMP's in other states may have their own rates.
