Buffalo Timeline

I applied for a Canadian PR under Federal skilled Worker program on July 15, 2005 in Buffalo. Got a file number on July 29, 2005. I haven't heard anything since then. I recently got married to a Candian resident. What should I suppose to do?. Should I continue with the my current application or apply a new application under spouse sponsorship?
