Buffalo: Time given to submit passports after PPR - 30 or 60 days?

Hello,
I have been searching this forum to find out how much time does Buffalo Canadian Consulate gives you to submit the passports after you get the PPR. Is it 30 or 60 days? I may have to travel for approx. 1.5 months. If they give 60 days, it should be fine. But if they give 30 days and it comes during that time, then it may be an issue.

Please advise.
