Hi there everyone!

I just wanted to seek everyone's advice about this:

Will Buffalo ask for an updated FBI certificate considering they seem to start processing of PR applications 6 months after submitting it?

My husband and I submitted ours last Sept 2010. FBI certificate is valid for 6 months, which is Feb 2011. CIC has not given us our AORs and we project it will arrive on April (based on CIC's 30 week timetable). This might mean that the FBI clearance would be expired by the time CIC reviews our application.

We just want to know if we should try to get new FBI certificates already since it takes at least 12 weeks to process.

Thanks in advance and good luck to us all!
