Hello guys,
Can you share the timeline for Buffalo those who applied recently in 2010/2011 (Provincial Nominee). If we all exchange the information about their timeline, we know how the processing time now?
I have applied to Fort Erie on Jan 25/2011.
Draft Cashed on Mar 9/2011
Still waiting to hear from them.

Buffalo is still processing applications from November. If you applied at the end of January, I believe, you should expect something in August.

Thanks Sharu 4 ur immediate reply. So u think I wil get by aug? How about after medical ? Do they take 5 months normally now. Cos one of the person I know he says he receive in 3 months after medical?
How about background check? What do they check in that?
also do u have any idea, where the medical letter for my wife(who is in India, my dependent ) wil be sent
If they sent to me, how do I carry forward to make sure her Medicals done in India. If I know this earlier there won't be any delay when it comes. I.A

In 2010 the processing time was faster but not nowadays. Well, I believe you should get AOR and Medical request in August. Once you are done medical, and everything looks good they start the background check. So, after medical you should see somewhere 6 months after that. The processing time at Buffalo is 13 months nowadays, 7 months from when you sent in your application to get medical and another 6 months to actually get your PPR. I do not have much information in regards to the medicals for your spouse. You should contact Buffalo in regards to that.

i checked people timelines on trackitt and ive seen some people who got their passport request 2-3 months after their medical.

Hello a-p 13, did u see this 2-3 months after medical for pr for 2010/2011 applicants?
Also do you know which all dept. they contact for background check? Just wondering if it's only a criminal background check or if they are going to check every single thing we said in form?

I applied in to Buffalo in October 2010 cheque cashed November 2010... and that was the last i heard!!! I checked online by application status and all it said was application received, does this mean they haven even started processing.. it has been 34 or so weeks surely it should have made some process ( I am a BC PNP)
Anyone else taking this long???

Its how you check you application status online. Are you within Canada there should be a CLIENT ID # on your work permit you should try using that to access it. You can goto the website for immigration and click check application status .. |

I dont Know... only just worked out how to access it.. Was waiting for a letter saying they received letter (still dont have that Are we supposed to get one) Just decided to call bank to see if check was cashed to get the immigration number (did not know could use client id on work permit) ( dont know much do I LOL)
