Buffalo Passport Request, but can't return to Canada for a few month

Hi Guys,

I hope somebody can help me here.

I got a passport request from Buffalo to issue PR visa. The deadline to send them the passport is May 15th. But right now I am in Germany and can't go back to Canada for a few month. Is there anything I can do besides sending my passport for friends in Canada so that they send it to Buffalo or travellign to Buffalo myself?

Can the Canadian Embassy in Berlin issue the visa for me?

I would send your passport to Buffalo ASAP with a Canadian return address (your friend) They can then mail it back to you in Germany

Or you can mail it to her and ask her to go for stamping in Buffalo

Buffalo will not extend the deadline and only Buffalo can issue your visa

I'd send Pp to friends in CND. they should send it to VO and get back after stamping and mail it to Germany. But keep in mind aliens need always their Reiseausweis in Germany, unless you r German.

I guess Berlin can do nothing for you

Make a copy of your passport and send it to Buffalo. Normally you should not get into troubles if you do so with the german authorities. The chance to get asked for your passport as long as you behave well is very little.

I ended up flying back to Canada myself since I thought I had to land in Canada after the visa was issued anyways.

By the way: My request to extend the deadline of submitting the passport was never responded.
