Hello Everyone,

I had applied for Canadian PR from US. The case got referred to Buffalo office. I compiled all the documents and sent them to Buffalo. Unfortunately, Buffalo sent the whole documentation back to us. They added a cover letter stating that after April 2009, we can not send the application of PR under FSW category to Buffalo.Instead it should be sent to Nova Scotia. For some reason, they have again directe us to NS. I am confused. When the NS office initially referred our case to Buffalo, why on earth will they send me documents back. I am utterly confused. Pls. help someone.

Thanks.
Frank.

Can you outline the date you first applied, where application sent, NOC, etc.  It may give others a better chance to answer your question.

I am not an expert, but it sounds to me as if the VO got your application confused with a POST 26 June application (which SHOULD be sent in its complete form to NS).  I would send them an urgent email and be prepared to return the application to them with a cover letter explaining what happened as soon as you have discussed it with Buffalo.  Good Luck and hope other seniors will give you some answers.

Had you sent the copy of AOR(which you got from CIC) with the application? The VO must have confused and they must have thought that it is post 26/6 application. Was your package opened by VO? Did you write your file no. on the courier package?

It is a mistake. Resend the application with cover letter and the copy of AOR (email) which you got from CIC. Place the copy of AOR on top of the document so that VO can see in the first place when he/she opens your documents. And write your FSW file no.(which u got from CIC) on courier package.
