Any one applied for TRV in person at buffalo recently like in Nov-Dec 2011? I got my work permit renewed and want to go to buffalo for in person TRV because I am going to vacation in January and need visa urgently.
Thanks

Hi Manek,

I had applied earlier, around first week of October.

I reached the visa office at 10.30 (I was told I was lucky as I was the last person they were going to let in for the day). I had my TRV at 12.45.

So if you get there by 8.30 am and have a complete and correct application, a same day TRV is almost guaranteed (well... only as guaranteed as any visa will ever be).

Hope this helps.

Me too... I've submitted my TRV application last week at Buffalo thru mail (US visa expired Sad )

Do you have any idea about the recent processing times? I know they were quite long (45-50 calender days on average) around June-August. Do you know if things have changed  since then?
