Diddley Squat on my end. I did rage call to my Lawyer this morning asking them to contact the consulate as I plan on traveling to the US this coming weekend.

I spoke to my lawyer's assistant today because my lawyer was in court.  She informed me that, they have received my passport today at 11:30AM.  Yahooooooooooo!!!! Smiley, and I can come tomorrow and collect the passport from their office which is located in downtown Toronto.  What a relief.

Now, the problem is that my work permit is expired, and I have applied for labour Market opinion.  Therefore, I was waiting for restoration of my status, and had until 26th April to do that.  I am planning to cross the Peace bridge tomorrow evening, not sure if I would have any problem.

"Your file seems to be ready to be finalized. You will receive the instructions very soon"

Thanks Sharif, Yes, I do remember the same e-mail, I recieved, and I received medical instructions after this e-mail but it had a time line in there.  Anyhow, Congrats to you!!!!

HI,guys.I got a replay from Detroit:  :The application is in the final stages of processing, and we anticipate sending "Ready for Visa" instructions within the next few weeks.
