Hi guys... did the BUffalo VO sent you emails to let you know that they transferred your files from their VO to different VOs? Submitted my applications 8 months ago and just got an e-mail from CIO that they recieved my PR application 2 months after I mailed and that they will transfer my file to Buffalo VO. Since then didn't hear any, waiting and waiting for any news about my application and hopefully for MR. Don't even know where my file is by now:(

Yes. Buffalo VO will let you know when your file is transferred. They usually email the applicant.

Wow good news to others.... the turn round time after sending my PPR back to Detroit was INCREDIBLY fast!!

I sent off my passport 10 days ago and have already received it back with my confirmed permanent residency documents!!

Good luck to all... it has been a long road for me but i think i'm finally there! =)

Oops i sent an email asking for update yesterday having sent my FBI clearance on jan 3rd.
I got a response saying they never got my updated F B I and send me second and last reminder for same.

I sent across scanned copy of FBI certain for self & spose, UPS shipping receipt, proof of delivery

Waiting to hear back my main worry is should I go ahead and send another set of finger prints to FBI in case they have lost my previous copy ?

I think you can request FBI to send you a copy of your report, and not re-process it.

FYI - processing these days takes 8 weeks time.

It happened to me as well. I sent FBI certificates for my self & spouse on 23rd Dec and was waitng for PPR , But to my surprise, they had sent a regular mail this week, to submit FBI clearence with in 60 days.

I sent them an email saying that I had already sent them, with all the proofs. They replied me next day, by saying that, they are seeing an update on my file on 31st Jan (after 40 days of receiving documents), so they said, they could be my clearence certificates.

They did not confirm me yet though, but i am hopeful, as I am from last 26 months.

Hopefully, they will update your file in next couple weeks, with your FBI certificates.

Hi everyone

Does anyone know what "We have received your medical results. Your file is currently awaiting final review by the visa officer" means?

Thanks

My case got transferred to Detroit office. Please explain me what does that mean. Also, I see some people commenting about FBI report. In 2010 I submitted my file along with FBI finger print report. Is there any other FBI report that I need to prepare for?

Ecas status:
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Detroit office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Detroit office on January 19, 2012. The Detroit office may contact you.
