Does it mean that you normally get the medical request on the BF'd?

So frustrated during this long waiting...

No , it doesn't mean that .. At my bfd I expect them to calc points and start processing the file .. Till now my file hasn't been looked at from pr decision process point of view . What I'm hoping for is that they see all documents are submittd and decide to waive interview and send medical request .. Wishful thinking, but doesn't hurt to reach for the stars !!

I'm having the same timeline as yours. Got my CAIPS last month and exactly same situation, they have not even calculated the points, it's simply ridiculous.

Also they may ask to do the PCC again since 1 year has elapsed.

I am planing to change the job to a different company but the nature of job still remains same.  What kind of impact does it make on my process?  Would it delay the process alot?  What is the best time to change, is it after receiving the medical req?  I have no idea, seniors view is highly appreciated.

Hello,

I am silent observer of this thread and I have a question:

I have applied under FSW1 category and my visa office is buffalo and received my 2nd AOR in JUNE 2010.

In July, I got new job but the problem is, I have not informed the Buffalo visa office till date. So, Is it advisable to inform the visa office or will it be a negative impact on my file?

thanks

To be honest with you only your visa officer has the answer
We are all in the same boat here waiting for buffalo to take the next step

But my best advise is update your file in buffalo
Anyone can change jobs its a free world

Imagine if your Visa Officer decides to call your boss and he tells him that you dont work there since x months ago

I think that will really be bad but if you update the vo will see that you changed jobs that can be favourable cause you are wanted by other employers andyou moveon with your life

Its just my opinion

thax, but do you think that it will impact negatively on my case coz its been very long time since I changed my job and regarding previous employer, he is ready to say that I am still working with them.

One more dilemma is that I am also going to apply for the visitor visa. so, what should I mention to them? new job or old job?
