Finally, after a long wait I have good news to share that I just got a call from attorney in Toronto that they have received request for my Medical+ RPRF + new PCC + updated IMM8 by mail posted on 21 December 2011 by NYVO.

Congratulations!! so, if they ask for PR Fee, that means they've already made the decision? And also, it seems like they're asking for new PCC's from everyone- that itself takes 2 months here in US (from FBI). |

Sealed Transcripts are important.I sent out Sealed University Transcripts and got those back with the Medical Request
Hi Gauravbt/Friends, Thanks for advice. Felt a little comfortable after knowing, that people have got MR after such an request (for transcript) from consulate. My university have procedure to handover transcript in hand to applicant in a sealed envelop. I have already applied and will positively receive soon and mail that envelop along with cover letter to consulate. But I need to provide them transcript for my wife's degree also. And that university send transcript directly to requesting authority. They don't give sealed transcript to applicant. So they will be sending directly to consulate. I applied but I have no visibility into whether they sent or NOT, or they will send or not. I can only trust University that they are going to send. The transcript is a cross verification of credentials to make sure that they are original. If they don't receive anything for my wife's degree from university, I don't know, whats going to be the result.. or is there anything else I can send to prove the genuineness of documents (may be original marks sheet or attested copied etc...) any idea.. ? Thanks |

Although there is no way that any college could be so irresponsible that it Won't send the requested document at requested address, but if i were you and looking to be sure, I would request not one but Two official transcripts at the same time- one addressed to the Visa Office and one to some friend of mine- so that as soon as my friend receives that transcript, I'd know that Visa Office got it too. And THEN, I'd go to my college again and request another one for Visa Office, just to be sure- Next week. Just to be Sure Good Luck. |

I second that.However,sending to one of my friends thing wont work.Normally any University would need some sort of letter from VO or some authority ,that this particular authority needs Transcripts. But DONT send originals .NYVO didnt send back my wife's Transcripts.
