Hi Gazz

How are you?

Please advise for April 2010 applicants as well, when do you think when i will get medical, here is my timeline
Applied on Jan 29, 2010
As my work permit was expiring in March 2010
So finally CIO NS received my file in April 2010
1st AOR in June 2010
File transfer to Buffalo VO in June 2010
2nd AOR from Buffalo in Nov 2010
Current Ecas  " In Process" with RBVO details

Its 24 months  from the date i first filed my application. Please advise

Thanks  Smiley

Hi,
First of all I'm not specialist. Just a person like you.

witch category have you applied? do you have a valid job offer? are you working in Canada right now? do you have a line " we reviewed your application and started processing on ..." in your E-cas?
if you are FSW1 really I don't know. because may be your N.O.C has reached the cap and they will wait till next July.
if you are working in Canada or you've already worked for more than one year in Canada (FSW2) average time line for getting MR is 20 to 22 months from the initial filing in Sydney NS. which you've already passed it!
If I were you I would probably email them or apply for CAIPS.

You can understand my situation

if Ecas shows "we received your PR file on April 2010" means your lawyer filed your application on April.

therefore, be relax. I'm sure the line " we reviewed your application and start..." will show up in your E-CAS very soon. if you are still in Canada that means you have worked here more than two years and you've already entered the CEC class and they know it better than us. just make sure that your lawyer will forward your new work permit to the visa office .

in your case there is really nothing to be worried about it. just relax and enjoy this fantastic winter.

Really GAZZZ, it means my lawyer filed it late, but he was saying he filed my application in jan 29, 2010 and CIO requested for new work permit, he also told me then he mailed work permit thats why its shows on my E cas that they received my file in April 2010.

if you are worried about your 67 points, you can also apply under CEC class. I know somebody that applied under CEC and got MR after three months! if I were you I would probably wait till end of February.because in your case means 22 months and still is within the average time to get MR.

He is right. because without valid work permit they would not accept the file as a F.S.W. anyway you filed on April and they are issuing medical for Jan-March 2010 applicant. I'm sure you will see some movement this month.

Congratulation for this big step! next step is 2 to 4 months waiting  Wink
FSW3 is a post graduate student who has studied for more than 12 months recently in Canada.
Why don't you update your signature to add your MR date to it. it will really helpful for other members of this forum who are searching for  Buffalo Time line.

one more thing.you told me that your file transferred to Buffalo on June 2010.June 2010 is a little bit tricky. did you file before June 25 or after this day? because for Post-June application there is no valid data yet. but for pre-June application the average time line is 22 to 24 months after filing in Buffalo.

Don't be nervous!. you will definitely get your PPR before me. your file is in the mint condition.
you are in security check right now. to be honest nobody exactly knows the time frame of this stage. there are tons of parameters that are out of our control. the number of the countries we have lived before, our nationality and some other parameters that we don't know. but the average time line is 2 to 4 months
these are the average timeline for FSW2 and FSW3 who filed in Buffalo

24 to 26 months from the date filed in Sydney
22 to 24 months from the date filed in Buffalo (this time line updates every three months. it is 23 months right now but I expect it to raise to 24!)
2 to 4 months after MR is done.

these numbers are just my vivid imagination and I hope they will be true.
