hey guys,

im based in the UK right now and need to apply for a medical check record does anyone know of the right place to visit to get this check at all?

To get your immigration medical done, you'll have to locate a designated medical practitioner (DMP) authorized by CIC to conduct it for you.

Go here and follow the pull-down menus to search for DMPs in your area: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

You need a DMP, look at the CIC web site http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

The price really depends on the DMP and the area. You'll have to pick one and call them to find out. If you have dependents that you may at some point wish to sponsor, they will need to undergo medical exams too. Otherwise yes, it's just you.

In Ottawa $170 - $250 total for medical, blood work and x-ray.

having just returned from canada, i tried to get my medicals done there as they were only 200 canadian
as opposed to 200 pounds plus vat 20% plus x rays 90 quid a pop!
that's times 3
and then 60 quid for my 13 yr old daughter!
lot of dosh i could have saved...
but never mind it's only money right lol

hey guys sounds so dammm apealing to visit canada to get them done ! but im based in the UK so will have to go to the cic appointed medics here. Sad ..... well i currently live at home with parents so i dont have dependants, so im guessing it is just myself prices are going to be expensive but has to be paid and done right Smiley .... thankyou again guys.
