Hi.. just asking.. I have a boyfriend in Canada and have visited him 4 times over the past 18 months.. each time i have stayed for less than 30 days.. My last visit for christmas/ new year with him i was pulled over for further questions and given a 6 month visa.. i only needed a month.
I am returning for the 5th time in 8 weeks and am worried i may be refused, As i may be visiting too frequently.
I am not planning to live there ever... I have a home (mortgage) in UK.. I have a daughter and grandchildren in UK and can support myself whilst visiting Canada and have extensive insurance should i need it.
Am i worrying for nothing? Or am i like many people asking for help on here going to have to just hope the IO is relaxed and in good mood?

You were given a 6 month Visitor Record; that's not bad at all. If the officer had doubted you, s/he could have given you less.

The sheer number of times you respected the terms of the temporary visa is in your favour.  You should have no problems. Indeed, I don't know why you were questioned at all, unless there was something in your luggage that suggested you might be planning to illicitly overstay your temp visa, or it was just a random spot check.

I wouldn't worry.

you are indeed worried over nothing. you travel history is right there with them and you can probably be admitted with your both eyes closed at the POE.
