I am studying in Canada, coming into the country by land from the United States. I have found the personal effects form online but I don't know if I should use that for bringing in my goods. I plan on bringing books, laptop(s), a fridge for my dorm room, clothing, and school supplies (binders, pencils, etc.). Should I just make a typed list of the things I'm bringing in with the approximate value in Canadian dollars or should I fill out that personal effects form?

Thank you!
